Hi, I'm Laura Treciokas. I am the brains and the brawn behind The Travel Principle. Born and raised in Southern California, and a transplant to the East Coast since my college days, I have always had a nomadic soul, and I  have relished every opportunity to engage with worlds different from my own. After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, I embarked on a career as a journalist, working in print, radio and television. Recognizing the need for a higher degree of personalization and a more empathetic approach to trip curation, I founded The Travel Principle in 2022 as a way to share  my love for travel with others.
